what's new. back to college in 2 weeks time. gahhh.. -.-

After taking the cab from the Airport... it zoomed thru the
highway and straight into the city.. nonetheless, its quite near
compared to KLIA to KL city...
It was in the evening.. when the jams all started... and it was SO JAM.
i got very sien... den we stopped to fill gas. taxi driver afraid
not enuf... since jam like mad.
after a while finally reached the Centre Point serviced apartment
that was along Petchburi road.. its one of the busiest roads there..
actually- all their roads are busy.. (pic in previous entry- last pic)
checked-in lor... then the guards started greeting in Thai when
we entered... i realized now- why they have such good rating..
shud be around 4 1/2 stars and lotsa foreigners stay there tho its
juz a service apartment..no?.. the rates were on the high side since
its the festive season and they charge in USD/Baht...

holidays are all about snapping pics and enjoying.. :D
wuz waiting at the lounge.. while waiting to check-in...
after that... went to the room. shower. rest. and off to explore
and lo0k what i shot while scouting the streets of Bangkok~!

on display along the sideway... its more or less like a night market
on Petchburi road.. where the sell loads of stuff like bags, Thai food.
and other stuff...
went jalan-jalan...
jumpin'.shrimps!!
saw some jumpin' and stil kickin' shrimps... lol.. seems that its
eaten "live" in some Thai salad... didn't try that.. coz its kinda
weird eating something that might be jumping around your mouth
haha. xD
later on went to Platinum Mall... its a big shopping mall.. with
shops that are tiny. figure that out.. something like Sungei Wang
tonnes of shops coz its all individually owned...

later- headed of to Bangkok's Night Bazaar...
nothing seemed to be special.. juz plenty of shops selling lotsa
overpriced items. one of the tourist dest. went for dinner there.
got.some.not-so-nice.singers.singing.up.there
(pity my ears.lol)
anyway... best thing about hawker stalls there.. everywhere serves
pork. ahaha! since Thailand is 90% buddhists. so not many muslims
had also one of the best Mango Glutinous Rice! =]
coz Thailand's sticky rice is famously grown there. incomparable with
those local sticky rice in KL. lol...
finally.IZ.me!
saw lotsa ppl drinking Heineken beer in tall containers..
oh well.. after that went bak to the hotel but before that went
jalan-jalan again around the area...
went for foot reflexology right outside the hotel..
not too bad.. since Thai masseurs are known to be good.
unfortunately- i seriously DONT KNOW whether the fella who
massaged me is a chiq or a dude. =.=
tsk tsk... i fail in recognizing. but i saw some along the way that
are either half/partial/fully ahkuas... lol.. wtf BBQ right??
k. that's for now... will continue it later.

and then headed off with Jeremy and others to the Curve.

Bangkok trip wuz a BLAST.

initial plan was to juz shop till someone drops. anyway i'll tell
ya how...
Flew with AirAsia's much acclaimed new Airbus. and yeah- my first ride
with the budget airline actually. not enuf Miles points for MAS. sad.
LCCT does look like a warehouse... ahaha! and it was crowded
and flight was delayed a while as expected. nonetheless, they
were strict on electrical devices when boarding.
It was my first as well. to go on the plane by STAIRS!
not shocked la.. used to using the Jet bridge to board the plane
but it has a plus point... can see the big bird in front...
although its no big deal to see the dang plane at all.
...again coz its a budget airline as my mum said.
was bored. plane was delayed. and...

and then... it started flying...
I saw a cute air hostess... she was kinda short. wuz wondering
how she could be a flight attendant. oh well, as long she's cute- lol.
things sold on board were expensive. but had a 1901 hotdog.
so.. read a book.hear.music.and.others... for the 2 hr flight...
and reached the airport in Bangkok...
it was huge... the new airport that was launched last yr.. not too bad.
nice interior and exterior.. looked like a long worm from outside...
a.long.long.way.to.go.like walking from one end to the other...
lucky there were travelators... plenty of duty-free stuff along the
way... gone thru immigration and wait for luggage.
took a cab into Bangkok city... =D
traffic jams there are worse than those in KL. really.
anyone drives a Vios? coz its widely used as cabs there. hahah!
the cab driver was zooming like anything. and i was in front. lol.

coz needed to go renew passport. it died- so yeah...
i dun wanna be stuck at some border or airport coz it died right?
went to renew at Pusat Bandar. got it done in a jippy.
used the kiosk~
but only get to collect after 2 hrs. so went bak to Phileo
and went bak there again after lunch to collect it.
damn- it juz had to rain.... not juz morning. but the WHOLE day

Few weeks ago.... ADP had this forum call Snip it or Keep it
it has got something to do with New Media...ect.
wth? i'm there only for the marks!!! yeah- English teacher giving
extra marks to those who attended.
so. the guests were Nick frm 8TV and blogger, Joyce- KinkyBlueFairy.
they discussed various issues about New Media...
one thing that struck me to the bone was about blogging...
what Joyce said was somewhat true... had really thought about it.
She said about- telling out your life-story on blogs....
Now, if your friends were to read your blog- they'd most probably
know most of what's going on in your life. since you blogged all about it.
if you don realize la. (includ. mE) whenever there's a meet-up among
say, friends who read your blog.
it's VERY likely that you got less to talk about since they know most
of what's up... in turn- an adverse effect.
this apparently does apply to ppl who meet regularly. in contrast, it does
not to ppl that live overseas for a long time. In time, the connection
isn't visible anymore... meet-ups are juz to see faces?
well. you be the judge...
unless you can come up something lame of the lamest like Kaka. LOL!
and anyway, i will also try to blog less on personal life, college but
more on thoughts. but will still highlight certain stuff. for fun.

Holiday mood juz left the building when I found out one of my major
(Management Information Systems) is no longer offered in my programme.
and stupid thing is that they never inform other students.
when asked- answer was it happened a long time ago. crap la!
cb ppl. never say earlier when I selected my major... and how do we
know when you dont tell... lame asses.
another workplace issue. wages... idiotic management. purposely go
until so complicated juz to calc wages. changing methods that are
time consuming when there's an obvious easier way... -.-
