time fr update! coz tintin saiD that my tag-board updates most of the
time but not the posts... so, i'm heRe to type another entry heRe
nothiNg spectacular happeNed except busy - busy & busy at work of
courSe..the Disney Fair at Ikano P.C. so, the starting was a bit moderate
not that muCh of a crowD...weekeNd was ok - got a lot of activities
held throughout the fair..the onE thing that happeNed tough..during the
treasure huNt..fiNd items in the fair... wheN one lady suddeNly knock
dowN the christmas tree... when running to the stage... so, the tree was
a bit disfigured... the star on top dropped off...and the stage was rather
in a mess...i wuz juz thinking...thiNgs might have gone much worse well
they might have created a hole on the stage...in terms of sales - it wuz
roughly alright...our target fr weekdays are 10K and weekends are 50K
well... not that we got to reach out target juz needed a few thousands
more to achieve..the boutique manager was there too, Ms. Drusylla a.k.a
godzilla...complained every thiNg that wasn't right... well, she was also
quite angry when got to know that staff are having break at 8 p.m
which wasnt clearly said cannot... however- we were juz told not to
do so today onwards... she caN always drop by the fair coz she staying
very near..at B. Utama- so, we're always on the look-out...
Wo0-hOo.... pay-day iz comiNg sooN...!!!! and i'm
gonna get paiD...so, i calculated my pay already to be submitted
..in case got any mistakes in the timiNg/hours... the manager
ask me to calc first... so, i did - coz on the 30th Nov. will be on
leave... better if calc earlier...if i'm not mistaken - i would have
got around 800+...and if i hadn't got lazier...i would have got
around 900+ || didn't do fuLL shiFt || well, the p/t also get paid
by the 30th... their pay iz mainly the time they worked throughout
the start of the fair...not that much...
the p/t were generally alright... sometimes they're lazy a bit..but can't
heLp it though...they're juz quite ok...especially the ones working at
the same as i am... one of them are so darn hardworking !!
really surprised that they never stopped-they juz continue..one of them
even do the work of other promoter..."tak tahan! already!" so, juz play
a joke saying that i cannot stand it seeing that feller so "into" it...
ok la... kudos to them...sorry la.. i was handling the cashier the whole
day and didn't help them do the arranging and stuff...
talking about cashier...luckily there wasn't any shortage if not... i will
have to pay to retain the cash float...to my surprised...there was even
excess to it... so, alright la do cashier-ing once in a while... but dun
wanna do it so ofteN...the whole time counting money onli + handling
the register and c.card purchases...
kay - have wrote enough fr todays entry... will blog again sooN
coz got full shift - many of them off-day so, had to take full shift...
tomorrow...get more $$ to get the stuff i waNt...

blogging again today coz itz my off-day... seEms that i got too many off
-days that they willing to givE me... last weEk got 3 days leave...fri, sat
and sunday...and today..well, the manager told me that i missed a lot
when i was away...in terms of the stocks and so on...was a bit bluR on
the set-up day..which was at nigHt - stayed till 11 p.m - as usual move
all the thiNgs down frm the store to the fair area...then to arrange the
stuff, hang all the clothes... dunno why we did in such a hurry although
we had all night to all those...the others stayed till 2 - 3 in the morniNg
juz to finish it up as well as the fencing...but still they get to claiM their
over-time payment...so the next day was a full shift fr me - which was
compulsary fr all staff... only some of them get to go baCk by 6 p.m coz
they stayed back at night...so, its left me and the other part-timers...
haD to keep an eye on them so they do their job properLy...
Well, it has its pros! I get to ask them to do anything...also get to tell
them not to talk, no using h/p and so on... the darN thinG iz that we
hav to weaR some silly, dumB Disney aprons...as though we're gonna
cook fr the fair...the boutique manager was there too - not too baD juz
that she sort of complains a lot...she's fairly alright...haD some proBlems
too with the part-timers...it seEms that a pair of them had gone missing
after their break time...and never came back...so, we have not enough
ppl at the fair...so, they're hiring again...and i hav some doubts about
them paying double on public-holidays...the way they say it like bluff
ppl wan..so, i kiNda don't really trust it..fr the company employed, it
depends on the company whether to pay them extra... well, if they dun
pay juz hope that some bomoh will jampi and burN down their factory...
Didn't do much today, so juz at home -- relax, go on the nEt, see my
favourite show - Always On My Mind, reaD some bks... and others
also went to 1 Utama juz to walk around...and the main thing iz passed
by Aldo, also saw her again there... she also saw me passed by in front of
the shop and she juz smiled... nothing much i somehow froze there fr a
while then i walked off...the next step isn't really clear here...let fate
decide..but the way she looked isn't that old...prob around 16 yrs or
possibly 15 yrs but any older is alright i guess...it seEms that age doesn't
matter nowadays hoW truE iz that ??? well, love iz bliNd... got to work
again tomorrow...i'm starting afternooN shift tomorrow...juz startin to
enjoy beiNg at the fair itz more exciting being downstairs than upstairs..
but hav to always go up to punch carD when break time...still readiNg
bks fr free at Popular... and already finished my 3rd bk...gonna continuE

finaLLy back agaiN to bLog... afteR being away fr approx. 2 & 1/2 days
juz got baCk today frm some plaCe miles away from here...[P.J] well,
it seEms everything iz fiNe here... nothing much happening though...
arriveD around 4 p.m, so juz relax fr a while - went out with cousin,
and all to the lame-est night market which iz TmN tuN... there's nothin
much to see there...unLike Bangsar night market which iz way better
got a lot of things to eat to0... don't know why they decided to go
there -- mayb coz itz neaR....then had dinner and went walking around
1 Utama...with parents to0 btw... then juz walk everywhere mainly the
new side of the complex....wasn't in the mood to buy anything - so juz
look & see...my cousin got buy some things and also saw a lot of ppl
there...unexpectedly saw yeinfei workin at one of the shops... the place
iz quite packed though especially the main area...itz a sunday!! duH
some Nokia mobile phone display around there...
waLked frm the ground floor till the 1st and 2nd floor then went down
again then they all went to see shoes...some place called Aldo - the
stuff looks quite niCe there but expensive too..my mum won't mind
spending on things like that...if she neEds it desperately that is...
so, they want to buy then buy la...
agaiN somethiNg juZ caughT my atteNtion :: gueSs waD ???????
-> the temp. staff at the shop [aLdo], which had juz sparked me out of
my 'undefined mood' - okay! she juz greeted me wheN i entered the
shop..surprised when she looked eye to eye whiLe greeting me :: let's
say 5 seconds ?? i juz smiled at her but regretly didn't get her name
when it was imprinted on her name tag...possibly it wasn't her name
on the tag itself...hoPe can pass-by therE agaiN juz to get a glimpse
*i'm un-attached, so plz don't say that i'm a two-timer...
aLso had a haiR-cut the othEr day at somE more expensive shop, which
i don't usually go coz this time my dad iz paying fr it...so nvm then
mum didn't object this time...but she say once in a while alright coz
haven't been cutting my hair fr some time..and itz like a bush...
and itz supRisiNgly satisfying....the hair stylist was juz great coz he did
it in a different way and it changed my hair style...so itz not standing
already...in somehow in a different look/style...ya, i knoW...itz time
fr a change already....and i liked it...
so, going to work tomorrow with a new hair-style...and get rid of the
old one... talking 'bout work -- holiday iz over already... back to the
same shop to start work...hav to stay back too fr set-up at night...
tomorrow will be afternoon shift then the start of fair will be full and
we'll see but sure be busy...
planniNg to go ice-skating too!! on my off-days fr sure but hav to go
and see the schedule first... at sunway la with my friends and cousins
so excited!! haven't beEn skating since my last holidays...
sEems fast - november iz approaching its end..1 month more to enJoy!!

baCk here to bLog agaiN... shouLd be at woRk today but didn't go and
won't be going fr the next 2 days - dun ask why... don't worry too.. i'm
not fired frm worK too...somethiNg like takiNg leave unlike YiNky
fraNkly, beEn busy these days with the preparation fr the Disney Fair at
the main concourse next week... was doiNg the confirmation of the
part-timers and to also finalize it....also a few calls here and there
to make sure they come next Tuesday... also had a short briefing with
the retail manager together with the other permanent staff about the
responsiblities duriNg the fair as well as which area we're in-charge
it had beEn quite a busy day...till Liyana call me up about the job
asking her to go USJ 1 for training when she works during the Disney
Fair... well, tues morning iz aLso the full briefing fr all promoters and
staff...also hav to stay back fr set-up of the fair on Monday night...
they wanted me to stay till 12 midnight fr set-up but i refused coz no
OT iz given...so, no point staying...toLd them i'll work onli till 10.30
p.m... hope itz alright - let the others do the set-up after that
unexpectedly - when hui ting called when i was working, so that she
could express her excitement...i was juz wondering..why don't she
call the ass instead....hahah!! the ass wouLd be so happy when they
get to hear her voice...guess they missed it to0...
can't wait till eNd of the month...so that can get my pay!!!
finally - 30th iz the week after next...so, soon i will get paid
and btw, i've already finishing my second bk of Smallville... and ya
it took quite long fr me to finish coz i onli could read it when i'm
having my break...wait till i get back to work then i can continuE
readiNg...hearD also duriNg the faiR...it will be so busy until cannot
go for lunch....and the darN thing iz that hav to go all the way back
upstairs to punch card whenever we start / finish work...

kay... my fault fr not updatiNg this bLog fr a weeK alreaDy...say 1 week
iz passes quite fast to0...juz a bLink of an eye...but day by day it iz
kiNda borIng doiNg the same routine everyday at the shop there...
wish november ends quickly...so can get my pay..huHu~! but heaRd that
the HQ say that they onli pay p/t by the mid of deC...so itz sort of not
faiR agaiN...they shouLd pay by the 1st week of the month...! they are
so goNna pray that no oNe buRns dowN their shop!

if i'm not working...the day wouLd definately borinG...wonDer what
are the others are doiNg...laze arouNd ?? so, ppl liKe tiNg, ka and the
others...what arE YOU guys doiNg....? i hearD that YiNky's woRking so
i thiNk she's worKin...the others?? whEre in the woRld are ya iN ??
fraNkly, i fiNd eatiNg out most of my tiMe duriNg my break ain't that
cheap too...i thiNk it wouLd make up to 10% of my pay...and thats a
lot...can't heLp it but to juz controL... sometimes, when i dont feel
like eatiNg...theN i wouLd go and read books at Popular...and hav
somethiNg light like ice-cream / cinnamon bun frm Ikea be4 reading
books...can't seem to hav enough time reading bks though duriNg
my break...beeN readiNg the new series of SmaLLville...and itz so
niCe to reaD!! seeMs that every break time...i wouLd read about 2
to 3 chapters of the book...after a few days i've read about more
than haLf of the bk...timE well speNt with..reaDing...i also avoided
myself frm reading reference bks...chem, bio all those...phobia
aLready...gotta take some tiMe off frM thoSe type of bks...they can
makE a persoN go boNkers...
hmm... alSo heaRd that someoNe was shoutiNg at the shop i was
worKing at...the other day...well, wasn't there to see the
'drama' that happeNed though....i aLways miss it... it seeMed that
the man shouted till the whoLe store hears it...well, faciNg these
type of probLems iz good fr health...but hope it doesn't get too
serious or go over-board...the customer would thrash the whole
place upside-down....
wroTe enough aLready...gtg sleep now...tomorroW's a fuLL shiFt
would be extra tireD tomoRrow...10 till 10...12 hrS !! at the

Back again to blog...been quite busy with the job and the unnecessary
stuff...aLso Selamat HAri Raya to all the Malays...sorry fr the late wishes
been working something like day & night...itz been onli 6 days i'm
working there and i feels that i had been a very long time already...well
had already experienced a lot..throughout this whole week...and it had
been also a very long week...juz imagine beiNg there fr 10 hrs fr most
of the time...also due to the festive season to0...seen a lot of ppl and
also served a lot of customers to0..to think of it...there are definately
different types of customers...some choosy, irritating, inconsiderate...
and many more...but managed to handle it well...there are bound to
have the ups and downs in the working life....
the thing i'm really disatisfied with iz their pay for part-timers is so
darn, damn ""low""... itz only RM 4 per hour and they don't include
any incentives or attractions such as OT, commision or anything like
that...isn't that the dumb-est thing ever...? they dont even pay the
p/t staff any triple pay fr the public holidays that we worked
it iz puRely duMb, s-tupid, imbecile of them -- they think we're
sort of free labour or so...dreAm on!! nothing is free!!! in this cruEl
woRld...i even complained to the store manager as well as the
retail manager (in-charge of the retail shops) 'bout the benefits they
don't give to the staff... let they all untung onli !
at least other shops got give some benefits like OT/commission, this?
nothing !! at all... i really felt like quitting, right at their faces...
although they expect me to train the new p/t staff during the fair
....but once i quit -- there won't be any !!! coz the full-time will be
all upstairs and p/t will be downstairs at the fair...now after they
heard that i'm possibly be leaving.... they're trying to persuade me
not to leave...but as long as i don't get extra pay...i can juz say
good bye! and neva see u again....and also till i get a new job
somewhere else mayb in 1 Utama or somewhere in Ikano or the
Curve...was thinking of F.O.S but i'm sure they're others....
i'll give some time fr the manager to speak to the human resource
dept. and decide whther to pay me more....if not, too bad!
coz i don't want to waste time and earn peanuts...fr working like
a multipurpose customer service personnel...to jaga...to sell...
to clean...to do admin work...to get stock fr customers... nopE!!
i'm aiN't gonna do that aNymore!!
itz going to be 1 wk already and i still get paid fr working at least a
week...if i quit now...so, let's wait and see...

Fine...i juz magically have the time to blog again...now's already 11.45
p.m and i suppose to be sleeping aLready...otherwise will be too
exhausted fr tomorrow's another round of full-time shift...frM morning
till night..b'cause of those Malays going to celebrate their Raya
tomorrow and i hav to replace them and work full-time..at least have
to do 2 things which iz do the stock-checking [adMin woRk] and
replace the girl to handle the "Nike" apparels...incLuding serving the
customers if they need anything....isn't it kinda tedious ??? well... at
least - i'm paid to do these stuff..if not, i'm the first to quit...thank
gdness that the manager iz quite aLright and aLso heLpful...especially
the full-timers...teach me how to do aLmost everything there..my
break iz about 1 hr, i eat & stroll around takes nearly half an hour...
then the rest iz spent at Popular... i juz sit there and read some
books...sometimes Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Harry Potter...if i hav full
day then i'll hav 2 times break....one late afternoon Well, overall this
job is not bad...! easier to understand & they dun treat the workers
like slave but there's one lady...asst manager darN unfair coz she give
priority to the workers under her....well, i'm under the store manager
itseLf...so, its way better...the asst manager can't harm me...she's no
threat to me... all was fiNe fr today...
and i aLso saw some F.O.S workers -- they're juz opposite the shop i'm
working at...went up the lift together after lunch time...this girl
darn cocky juz because some ppl are frm the opposite shop and bigger
than their shop...think that gal iz frm the BU 4 Sec School...she juz
show the bitchies face i've ever seen the whole day.... i guess u ppl
know how bitchy ppl look like = something like ppl i noE in school
juz fr the reason that i asked her to hoLd the lift a 'lil longer...is that
too much to ask...girls like this are such horror...
Well, i aLso saw this guy fr the same Factory Outlet Store [F.O.S]
danciNg his way to the toilet and he was in the "so-malu" condition
and had run straight to the toilet to avoid me laughing at him....
well, "haha!"....there's fair coming soon too at the main concourse..
and i'm aLso involved even i was posted upstairs...juz saw my duty
schedule fr weeks to come....juz terima shj since the manager told
me that they will be other part-timers...me as part-timer and they
as part-timer i different....they work as long the fair iz on while
i still work even when the fair iz over....hope u ppl understand the
difference... thiNk i have bLogged enough fr now... gtg & sleep
